The Quarter Horse is a loved horse breed from people all over the world. The Quarter Horses were named for their great ability to sprint a quarter of a mile and are the fastest horse in the world to do so. They have strong quarters which enable them to bolt from a standing start and can run up to 440 yards in less than 22 seconds. They have a happy and gentle nature and succeed in all sports.
