Quarter Horses are very talented horses and great all rounders. They have a natural ability to work with cattle and are named as one of the most popular horse breeds in the world. The Quarter Horse was named because they are the fastest horse to run a quarter of a mile and are also know as the Quarter Miler.

Quarter Horses are identified by their thick and muscular necks and buttocks. Standing at approximately 14-16 hands high, they are almost all colours; however, are mainly chestnut, buckskin, palomino, black, brown, grey, blue and red roan and dun.
